Experimental studies
We performed impact force testing to compare Protech Dent™ with conventional mouth guards (1). We also brought Protech Dent™ to our laboratory to better show and explain why a hard, perforated material is superior to conventional soft mouth guards (2)
1. Impact force test
An iron bar on a pendulum hit different materials covering tiles.
The tiles simulated teeth in a mouth.

In a highly sophisticated stress test, our engineering team measured how mouth guards deform under the impact.

Clinical study
42 athletes (age 6-34).
Younger children had their parents fit the Protech Dent™ mouth guard, all others did it themselves.
